OUR PURPOSE

Mt. 22:37-40  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Our Mandate

Rev.5:10

Raising Kingdom Ambassadors (that reign as Marketplace Apostles in their various place of assignments and purpose.)

Our Beliefs

Acts 2:42

1)  BELIEF IN THE TRINITY

A) We believe that the Trinity is the one and only God (Gen. 1:26-29; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 28:19, 1 Pet.1.2)

B) God expresses self in three persons as the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (1 John 5:7; 2 Cor. 13:14.)

2)  SALVATION & DEDICATION

A) Salvation is a finished work of the cross. We believe that all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and therefore needs repentance and declaration of Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour.
• We believe salvation experience should be followed with water & Holy Spirit baptism with evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:44-46

B) Dedication is expected from all responsible believers in response to God’s grace – Jn. 17:19; I Pet. 1:15-16.
• God calls every believer to a life of consecration and sanctification. I Thess. 4:7; Rom. 12:1-2, 2 Cor. 6:17-18, Heb.12:14; 2Tim. 2:19; John 17:15-17; Phil. 1:6; 1 Thess. 4:3-4; 1 John 3:2; Eph. 5:26-27.)

3)  GOD’S WORD AS PRINCIPLES & WISDOM OF GOD

We believe that Bible embodies the wills of God (Prov. 24:3-4, Isaiah 33:6, John 1:1-12; Heb. 1:3; Eph. 1:17) and has final authority in all situation, being written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 3: 16-17)

A) Bible is the principles of God and should serve as the foundation of every worthy establishment, accomplishment and fulfilment. We believe it is accurate, authoritative and applicable to everyday lives.

B) Bible is the wisdom of God and should be the source of our virtues, thoughts and imaginations. Rom.10:17

4)  FAITH IN GOD & GOOD WORKS

Faith without work is death. Work is an avenue to manifest spiritual promises and blessing. Emphasising miracles without the principles of hard-work deprive people of the harvest of hard work. Eph. 2:8-10

A) Social work (means of existing). Work is a provision of God for taking dominion. We cannot wait for God to do everything for us. Work is a proof of faith. If we do not want the Church to become collection centre of lazy bones and graveyards of the national economy, we need to encourage our members to prove their faith with their work. Miracle does not oppose hard work, it rewards and compliments it. 1 Cor.13:1-8; Heb.6:10

B) Church work (service to the Body of Christ). God told Pharaoh to release His people to serve Him. In addition to individual purpose and assignment in life, we share a general purpose of serving God as a member of the Body of Christ (fellowship, evangelism, discipleship etc.) 1 Pet.4:10-11; Gal.6:10; 1 Pet 5:2

C) Ministry work (what you do from Monday to Saturday in the real world). We are all God’s ambassadors and missionaries to the marketplace. We have all been sent to the world to shepherd God’s sheep (Matt.9:36-37).

5)  CELEBRATION OF THE HOLY ORDINANCES

• As Christians, we have been baptized into the Body of Christ (Mark 1:8; Eph.4:4-6; Rom. 6:3-4; Col.2:11-12; Luke 3:16; I Peter 3:21). This is the only insurance that we are restored to the Lord.
• Jesus instructs that we continue to practice two major ordinances in remembrance of Him. They are:

A) Water Baptism. This is a one-time act of obedience which testifies of personal faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward symbol that signifies an inward spiritual identification with Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Baptism (immersion in water) is for every believer who professes faith in Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:28, 8:12, 16, 36-39, 10:47; Matthew 28:16-20.)

B) Holy Communion. This Lord’s Supper is a repeated outward expression of the inward reality of holy union with the person and work of Jesus Christ. We do this in remembrance of Jesus’ death till His returns. (I Corinthians 11:23-28, 10:16-17; Luke 22:17-20)

6)  HOLY SPIRIT & SUPERNATURAL POWER

A) The Holy Spirit is the resident God and powerhouse of the Trinity on earth. The Person, the work, and the power of the Holy Spirit are fundamental to who we are as a people. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that sanctifies us, makes us holy, sets us apart for sacred service, and seals us for eternity’s sake. (Gal 5:22–23). The Holy Spirit empowers the church with spiritual gifts to do kingdom work until Christ returns (John 14:12; 1 Cor. 1:7; 12:4,11,28; Eph. 4:1-16; Rom. 12:6-8; Heb. 2:4; 1 Pet. 4:8-11).

B) We believe in the demonstration of the power of God as part of the Gospel of Christ (1 Cor. 4:20.)
We believe healing and miracles should be a natural part of the Church’s life. (Ps. 82:5-7; John 3:8, Matt 8:17) The Lord commanded us to go into the world, not only to teach the nation but that we should also heal the sick, Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 10:1; 16: 15-18.

7)  DOMINION & RESTORATION OF THE EARTH

As believers, we are sent to preach the “Message of the Kingdom” in order to transform people and redeem nations. We are the solution and answer to people’s problems. 2 Chr. 7:14; Matt.5:14-15. We are sent to:

A) Redeem nations back to God. Restoring the sick, the disabled and the poor.

B) Restore the earth (nature) back to her glory.

8)  SUCCESS & PROSPERITY

A) Tithes and Offering. Regular payment of tithes and offering is holy because it is God’s command. It is God’s way of providing for the Church, Ministers and members in need. (Matt. 10:40-42; 2 Kings 4:8-17; I Sam. 9:5-10.) Tithes and offering should be joyfully paid on every income and gifts as means of acknowledging God as the Source, Provider, Rewarder and Lord over all ( Malachi 3:8-12; Gen. 14:19-20; Num. 18:20-21; Deut. 26:12-13; Lev. 27:30; Heb. 7:2-5; I Cor. 16:2; Matt. 23:23.)

B) Labour and Investment. An obedient tither and giver must give God means (work, service etc.) to bless him or her. Faith without work is dead. Tithe and offering do not negate labour. They reward and compliment it. Josh.1:8

9) GREAT COMMISSION & SOUL WINNING

We are commissioned to win souls at all cost and disciple them into the image of Jesus Christ. We champion the work of evangelism and discipleship in our own neighbourhood. We also send out local and international missionaries to places beyond our individual reach (Matt 28:19–20).

A) Evangelism. (Sharing passion of Christ for the lost souls.) Mark 16:15; Acts 13:47; Acts 20:24

B) Discipleship. (Training & empowering believers to carry on mission work.) Matt.16:24; Lk. 9:23-24

10)  GREATEST COMMANDMENTS ARE LOVE FOR GOD & NEIGHBOURS

Love is the fulfilment of all laws. THE FOUNDATION from where we do every other thing is love. God loved the world and saved it (John 3:16). The purpose of Church is to serve the world with the love of God (1 John 3:16).

A) Love for God. (Matt. 22:37-38.) Everything we do in grace dispensation should be done out of love and not law. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt 6:19-21.) Capacity to love determines our brokenness and closeness to God.

B) Love for the neighbour. (Matt. 22:39-40). He that loves another has fulfilled the law. “For this, “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” “Thou shalt not kill,” “Thou shalt not steal,” “Thou shalt not bear false witness,” “Thou shalt not covet,” and if there be any other commandments, all are briefly comprehended in this saying, namely: “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Rom.13: 9

11)  SPIRITUAL RESURRECTION & FINAL JUDGEMENT

A) The Bible teaches a lot about the resurrection. Jesus taught us plainly that the buried body will be raised up from the tomb at the later day (Jn. 5:25-27; 28-29.) Paul confirmed same (Acts 24:15; I Cor. 15:22, 42- 44.)

B) The Bible also teaches that there will be three judgements after death. Rev. 14:10-11; Lk. 16:24; Mk. 9:43-44:
a. The Judgement of the Believers: This would start immediately believers are caught up in the sky, they shall stand before Christ. After this judgement, they will descend down with Christ upon the earth ( 2 Cor. 5:10: I Cor. 3:3, 11-15: James 1:12; Rom. 2:16: 14 11-13; Rev. 19:7-9.)

b. The Judgement of the Nations: This will be the time when Jesus had appeared upon the earth between the millennium reign (Acts 17:31; Joel 3:2; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; Rom. 2;16: Rev.: 17; Malachi 16:21; Matt. 25:31.)

c. The Judgement of the Unbelievers (White Throne Judgement). This would happen after Christ’s one thousand years reign on the white throne (Rev. 20:11-15; 2 Pet. 3:7; Dan. 12:2.)

12) ETERNITY IN PARADISE OR HELL

The Bible teaches the reality of the resurrection and eternal existence (Dan.12:2; Matt. 25:41-46.)

A) We believe the righteous will live with the Lord in eternity forever (Dan.12:3; John 3:36; 2 Pet.3:13.)

B) We believe the wicked people will be sent to hellfire forever (Jn. 5:28-29; 2 Thes.1:9; Rev. 20: 10-15.)
